The GHS Library Collection contains over 18,000 resources. The Collection is constantly being updated to ensure that the best possible information services are available, and the range of reading material will cater to all ages, literary tastes, and abilities. Suggestions for future purchases are always welcome.

The library also houses the Seniors' Study, a mini-computer laboratory, and a seminar room. The Careers Advisor's office is also located in the building.

Students in Years 7-10 may borrow up to 2 fiction and 2 non-fiction books, each for two weeks. Students in Years 11 and 12 may borrow up to 2 fiction and 6 non-fiction books for two weeks. All books may be renewed if not overdue or reserved by another student. The library also has newspapers and magazines available for reading in the library.
