THE SEASON'S GREETINGS LETTER

Dear everyone who is in our address book,

Well, what a busy year it has been for us! It was a shame that we couldn’t catch up with you during the year – in many cases it was because we weren’t sure who you were. For some others who we’ve neglected, it was more a matter of basically we didn’t want to. Ha Ha.

We know that you are on tenterhooks waiting to hear all our news, so without further ado, here’s what we’ve been up to lately.

You probably already know about our recent loss. Why is it that bad news travels so quickly? However, we are all coping well and are making the necessary adjustments.

The highlight of the year was without a doubt our major anniversary celebration. Nearly 800 people turned up for the Big Party– although we only invited 30. If you saw the newspaper reports, remember not to believe everything you read. The TV coverage was very biased, and we think the police really could have shown more restraint.

Suzy’s engagement was a surprise to us all, but we couldn’t be more delighted with her choice. Unfortunately, we had to keep the celebrations very low-key, to balance Henry’s recent break-up. Fluffy’s kittens were the only additions to our happy little band. Good on you, Fluffy!

Tim’s recent promotion was cause for more partying. Those of you who have met him will know how hard he worked for it. Forcryinoutloud, he keeps telling everybody! But seriously though, we are all thrilled about it.

Many thanks for the cards and flowers for Mack. He's doing quite well, all things considered, but we do have to be careful not to mention the 'you-know-what'. And also keep anything colored green away from him. Oh, and also avoid any sudden movements or loud noises. But apart from that, he's fine. (Most of the time.)

Anyway, that’s all our news for the year. We’ll have to get together early next year, and maybe even do lunch or something.

Merry New Year!
