THE BOOK: BIBLIA'S GUIDE
TO WARRIOR LIBRARIANSHIP

FREQUENTLY UNASKED QUESTIONS
(for those who make assumptions)

Isn't this book just a re-hash of the web site?

Good grief, NO! The book has a few of the most popular of the web articles, but most of the content was written just for the book. It isn't on the web site.

Why should I cough up twenty-something dollars, when I can read Warrior Librarian Weekly for free?

Well, for number one, the WLW "team" has a history of dummy-spitting, and could just decide at any given moment in time to incinerate the web site and start a new project. For number two, it's pretty hard to curl up in bed with a computer to order to get nice and comfy when your read. And for number three, see the answer to the first question above. Sheesh! And we thought we were cheap ...

REVIEWS BY REAL LIBRARIANS ON BACK COVER READS:

Amanda Credaro puts words in my mouth!! Her observations on librarianship are so on-target that I quote her almost every day.
Glenda Blaisdell-Buck
Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenbury County

When the going gets tough, the tough take a break and go read Biblia.
Rowan Fairgrove
Research Librarian, Richoh California Research Center

If this guide had been around in 1964-1965 I would not have needed to waste a whole year getting an MLS. In truth, this book would have likely meant the demise of library education all together.
Martha Jane Proctor
Library Consultant, Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives

A.B. Credaro is the Steve Martin of the library world.
Colleen McDonald
Head Librarian, International College, Beirut, Lebanon

I am so thankful that the Warrior Librarian is not eye-sucking boring ... the book should be given out when one gets their degree along with the sweater-vest, book bag, and comfortable shoes.
Charlotte Rowell
Seymour Library, Seymour, CT

The Warrior Librarian is the best thing that has happened to librarians since, well, ever.
Rachel Schullo
Shorewood-Troy Public Library, Shorewood IL

When I read Andres Greeley and the Warrior Librarian, I find myself dreaming longingly of knowing people who think and talk like that.
Peggy Northcraft
Children's Librarian, Hannibal Free Public Library, Hannibal, Missouri

As much as I love my job, there are THOSE days ... Biblia shows me I am not alone ...
Cindy Dorfeld Bruckman
Adult Services Librarian, Alachua County Library District, Gainesville, Florida
